Inside the Church of the Nativity

The "traditional" spot of Jesus' Birth. Thereís an interesting story about the
star in this photo. One time it was stolen, and a small regional war erupted
over its theft. The winning side obviously returned it and bolted it in place.

In Nazareth, a Byzantine church was built over the place where it
is believed that the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary
that she would give birth to the savior Jesus.
